Bumper to Bumper Coverage

Bumper-to-Bumper coverage on Ford and Lincoln cars and light trucks is as follows:

• Ford Cars and Light Trucks
  1995-2009 model year Ford cars and light trucks are eligible for the Bumper-to-Bumper warranty and are covered for 36 months or 60,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first. See warranty information booklet for specific exclusions.

• Lincoln
  1992-2009 model year Lincoln products eligible for the Bumper-to-Bumper warranty are covered 48 months or 80,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first see warranty information booklet for specific exclusions.

 

• Powertrain Warranty Ford Cars and Light Trucks (North American built only)
  2007 model year and newer Ford cars and light trucks built in North America which are eligible for the Bumper-to-Bumper are also eligible for the Powertrain Assembly Coverage and specified components are covered for 60 months or 100,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first.  See warranty information booklet for specific exclusions.

• Powertrain Warranty Lincoln
  2007 model year and newer Lincoln products are eligible for the Powertrain Assembly Coverage and are covered for 72 months or 110,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first.  See warranty information booklet for specific exclusions.

 

• "F" Series Vehicles Diesel 7.3 L direct injection and 6.0 L engine warranty
  2007 model year and newer vehicles equipped with 7.3 L direct injection or 6.0 L engine are eligible for the Ford Bumper-to-Bumper warranty and the engine is covered for 5 years or 160,000 kilometers whichever occurs first.  See warranty information booklet for specific exclusions.

• Safety Restraint System
  2007 model year and newer Ford and Lincoln products are eligible for the Safety Restraint System coverage for 60 months or 100,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first.  See warranty information booklet for specific exclusions.  This covers safety belts, air bags and related components.

 

• Service Parts Warranty
  All Ford and Lincoln parts sold and installed by Al Jazirah Vehicles are eligible for the Service Parts Warranty coverage for 12 months or 20,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first, excluding normal maintenance parts.  This includes labor and parts replacement costs, as well as towing if required.  Parts sold “over-the-counter” and installed elsewhere may be eligible for parts replacement costs only.  See warranty information manual at your Al Jazirah Vehicles Parts Department for specific exclusions.

• Roadside Assistance Program
  Ford and Lincoln products sold “retail” are eligible for roadside assistance services under the Ford INtouch program.  Ford INtouch is separate from the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, but the program benefits run concurrently with the Bumper-to-Bumper coverage.  Coverage includes towing, flat tires, fuel delivery, battery jump starts and lock-out-services.  See warranty information booklet for specific exclusions.

 

Important:  Bumper to Bumper Coverage

Bumper-to-Bumper Coverage does not cover regular maintenance items or failures due to customer misuse, abuse or lack of required maintenance.

Bumper-to-Bumper Coverage covers everything that fails due to faulty parts or workmanship during the warranty coverage period/mileage as shown above.
